COHQ

It's time to check what's happening in the dungeon. Today sucker bet is an email that I received on July 18, 2004, from "Deanna Powell" JACRFTQPRN@yahoo.com.
The company adertised was CorpHQ Inc., (COHQ). This is not the usual marketing company. It is actually a holding functioning as startup incubator, very much like CMGI in the old days of the internet bubble or InterActiveCorp (IACI). However, a potential investment in this Company after that email was received would not have done so well:

The total available price history of COHQ doesn't look much better:

A look at the pink sheets web site offer a few SEC filings. The Company has made money this year. The only reason, however, is the sale of shares of a subsidiary (Safequard Technology) that happened to have appreciated. Even if earnings went from $455,390 in Q1 2004 to $949,875 in Q1 2005, cash provided by operating activities went from a positive $497,035 to a negative $549,029 in the same periods.
