Some background information on XLPI

Yahoo! Finance has little information on Xcelplus International Inc. besides the usual stream of PR communications. The MoneyTV Network appears prominently on the list of press releases. It looks like it's a tv outlet for stock promotional campaigns, the stock market equivalent of infomercials, as can be understood from their own brochure. I cannot say if they have anything to do with the email that I received.

To get some more background information I have to go to the Pink Sheets web site, where there is some recent financial report available from Xcelplus. One is a 15c2-11 Disclosure Statement where they basically say that they have been in the business of promoting a number of lubricant formulas under several brand names in the past and that they now intend to buy them. According to the balance sheet, the Company had a net income of -$643,254.61 at the end of 2004.
